Find answers to common questions about our programs

General Questions

What is the batch size at KS Institute?

We maintain small batch sizes of maximum 8-10 students to ensure individual attention and personalized feedback for each student. This allows our instructors to focus on each student's specific needs and provide detailed guidance.

Do you offer online classes?

Yes, we offer both online and offline classes. You can choose the format that works best for your schedule and learning preferences. Our online classes are conducted via Zoom with full interaction and the same quality as offline classes.

Can I get a free trial class?

Yes, we offer a free counselling session where we assess your current English level and discuss your goals. During this session, you'll also get a preview of our teaching methodology. Contact us to schedule your free counselling.

What are your class timings?

We offer flexible batch timings including morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend batches to accommodate working professionals and students. Specific timings are decided based on the batch you enroll in.

IELTS Questions

How long is the IELTS course?

Our IELTS course typically runs for 2-3 months, depending on your current English level and target score. We create personalized study plans for each student based on their assessment.

What is the success rate of your students?

Approximately 92% of our students achieve 7+ band scores in IELTS. Our small batch sizes and personalized attention contribute to these consistent results.

Do you provide study materials?

Yes, we provide comprehensive study materials including practice tests, vocabulary lists, writing templates, and speaking topic banks. All materials are included in the course fee.

Will I get individual speaking practice?

Yes, absolutely. We conduct one-on-one speaking practice sessions with detailed feedback. This is a key component of our IELTS program as speaking is where most students need personalized attention.

Do you help with IELTS registration?

Yes, we guide students through the IELTS registration process, including choosing the right test type (Academic vs General Training), selecting test dates, and completing the registration form.

PTE Questions

What score do I need for Australia PR?

For Australia PR, you typically need a minimum PTE score of 65 in each module (Superior English) to get 10 points, or 79+ (Proficient English) to get 20 points. We help you target the score you need based on your PR requirements.

Do you have computer lab facilities for PTE practice?

Yes, we provide computer lab practice for PTE students. Practicing in a computer-based environment is essential for PTE, and we ensure you're comfortable with the test interface before your actual exam.

How is PTE different from IELTS?

PTE is fully computer-based while IELTS has a human examiner for speaking. PTE results come faster (usually 2-5 days vs 13 days for IELTS). PTE scoring is automated, which some students find more predictable. We help you choose the right test based on your destination and preferences.
